>>I have been on the verge of quitting my job the last few weeks. Everything has really fallen apart among the division I work in. For some reason the good Lord wants me to hang in there. I would love to say ‘no’ but if I can move through a few weeks of doodoo I know that something great is a couple weeks away. If I was a character in a movie I would tell my boss, ‘dude, man, the door is closer than five o’clock. Good luck finding someone as hip as me. Peace out, thug!’ Thankfully I’m built in strength and I’m not going to screw fellow employees over, including our new dear sweet boss. I will quit soon, but I’ll deliver a lovely two weeks notice with a smile.
>>I want to encourage you to hang in there while going through annoying times in your life. When your eyes weigh more than your problems, when you just want to throw a fit, spit, and split, hang in there and give a shh-h-h-hoot.
>>I am going to make my current problems at work into a game and possibly help my fellow coworkers to enjoy their jobs. I have stopped hoping failure on the company and instead I want to see something great come from the tiny biz. Arise from your depths, take a deep breath and give a little heart to the place your hate the most. Remember the door is closer than five o’clock.
