….If the goal ends up winning the game, then why would you let others hold back the victory? When a fellow person is casting down your dream just let their words encourage you to try harder and achieve your goal. There are a thousand stories of folks having problems, trials, and attempts before finally hitting their goal (J.C. Penny, Henry Ford, Peter, Paul, Walt Disney, etc), so don’t be the billion others who gave up.
….Remember only you can prevent forest fires. I think what Smokey really means is only you can stop shy of accomplishing your goals. Don’t give up and love the Lord.
